President Qin Jie of Confucius Institute at University of Montana was Invited to Give a lecture at Gonzaga University


SWUPL News  Recently, president Qin Jie of Confucius Institute at University of Montana was invited to give a lecture at Gonzaga University themed by “Internationalization of SWUPL and Law Education”.


In the lecture, Qin Jie introduced the achievements and influence of law education in our school and the strategies and measures adopted by our school in recent years to deal with the global education and the opening up. Meanwhile, she also had a detailed explanation of problems of law course and others. During the lecture, David Aronofsky of University of Montana also delivered a speech. He outlined the US Law Institute’s efforts to global influence and made a prediction on the future development of law education’s globalization. This lecture made the teachers and students of Gonzaga University have a more real and comprehensive understanding of our school, at the same time, it enlarged our school’s international influence.


As a part of “Internationalization of law education under the backgrounds of changeable international political law ” held by Gonzaga University Law Institute and International Law Institute, this lecture was attached to great importance and Law Institute president George Critchlow in person gave this lecture.


After the lecture, Qin Jie talked with our exchange students in Gonzaga University, Lei Fuyang, Tian Guo, Liu Huiling and Tang Jingyi, and other American students and had a detailed understanding of their learning and life. They also analyzed the difference of Law Education between China and America.
